Just wanted to say I’m back from my trip.  I left the beach with temps around 82 to come home and find it hasn’t warmed up at all since I left town with snow still on the ground.  Oh well!  I had a GREAT time, but it is always nice to come back home – even if you do go from warm to cold.  I’ll tell you more about my trip in a later post. 

I made it home in time to celebrate my mom’s birthday with her.  I think she had a good day – at least I hope she did.  She deserves it!  I know I’ve said this many times, but I can never seem to express just how much I appreciate my mother and how much she means to me.  Besides being my mother, she is my best friend.  I can chat with her about anything and no matter how confused I am about something, in her wisdom, she makes sense of it.  She knows me better than anyone.  What will make me angry, when I’m happy, when I need encouragement, when I need space.  Whatever it is, she knows.  I love her and am very thankful for her.  I cannot say that enough.  So Happy Birthday Mom – hope this year is your best ever!

So I will post about the trip soon!  Until then I’m adjusting back to the cold weather!   

So it snowed last night and just as I expected… beautiful, white, quiet… 

But I should still get to travel… on time…. YAY!!
